🍰 Classic tiramisu meets exotic ube
Ube Tiramisu combines the classic Italian dessert with the vibrant color and mildly sweet flavor of the purple yam from the Philippines . A visual highlight and a healthy, antioxidant-rich temptation.
🧁 Ingredients (6 servings):
- 250 g mascarpone
- 3 eggs (yolks and egg whites separated)
- 80 g sugar
- 200 ml cold whipped cream
- 200 ml plant or cow's milk
- 2–3 tablespoons ube powder
- 12 ladyfingers
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder or additional ube powder for decoration
💡 Tip: For a vegan version, replace mascarpone with plant-based mascarpone and eggs with whipped coconut cream.

Prepare ube cream :

Beat egg yolks with sugar and vanilla until light and creamy.

Stir in the mascarpone, then fold in the stiffly whipped cream.

Add ube powder and stir until smooth.

Prepare the biscuits :

Mix milk with some ube powder.

Briefly dip the ladyfingers.

Tiramisu layers :

Alternate a layer of sponge cake and a layer of ube cream into a mold or glasses.

Repeat until all ingredients are used up.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
